Creativity Is Your Birthright
Introduction to Transpersonal Art

For those who:
  • Yearn to refresh their creative side
  • Have read The Artist's Way and are ready for hands-on experience
  • Want to take stock and reposition themselves

Because play circumvents our conscious mind and nurtures seed potentials lying dormant within us, this transpersonal adventure is designed to release creative energy by tapping our inner Self. Utilizing a variety of media, sessions elicit breakthroughs in self discovery, self confidence and self expression.

Format: Four two and a half hour sessions or five-session weekend

Mandala Journeys
A Transformational Process

For those who:
  • Seek wholeness and integrity
  • Wish to discover their inner artist
  • Know that personal transformation is achieved over time

Mandalas (circular forms) are found in nature and in every culture, from Stonehenge to monasteries in Tibet. The making of a mandala (circular painting) in gouache is a commitment to work intentionally with the contents of one's unconscious. It is a spiritual exercise. Mandala Journeys incorporate meditations, journal reflections and dream work as well as Oriental principles of art making. No previous art experience is required, however participation in Creativity is your Birthright is recommended.

Format: Monthly two and a half hour sessions over 18 months or a two-week intensive

Dream Group
Accessing Dream Wisdom

For those who:
  • Are ready to explore their inner world
  • Recognize the growth potential of working with dream images
  • Seek greater meaning and purpose in their lives

Many persons grow up to have one-sided personalities and are unaware of the vast potential they possess. Working with one’s dreams is a proven key to unleashing that hidden potential. Because this work often requires confronting demons and ogres, it is greatly enabled by the safety and support of a small group of like-minded persons.

Format: Monthly two and a half hour session

Inviting the Muse
Encouraging Personal Creativity

For those who:
  • Desire dialogue about their creative endeavors
  • Enjoy the company of other creative persons
  • Find inspiration in experiencing a variety of art forms
Both fledgling and experienced artists and writers need support for their creative work. While some have found critique groups helpful, others find them to be soul-less and damaging. Inviting the Muse is a monthly gathering of between six and eight creative persons.

Format: Monthly two and a half hour session
